Two Decades of Social Commitment & Enduring Original Aspiration

On 25 May, the signing ceremony for the Incote Navigation Scholarship Fund was held at Ningbo Wuxiang High School. Incote Chairman Ying Xinglong, Deputy General Manager Wang Wei, Sales Deputy General Manager Ying Xiaochun and ESG Office Director Ying Xiaoting joined the occasion alongside school management, renewing a 20-year public-welfare-focused school-enterprise partnership and opening a new chapter for collaborative talent cultivation.

Twenty years ago, as General Manager of Akzo Nobel Powder Coatings (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., Ying Xinglong pioneered cross-sector welfare cooperation and established Akzo Nobel (Ningbo) Education Foundation, Ningbo’s first education foundation backed by a foreign-funded enterprise. An RMB 1.5 million donation set a benchmark for regional educational charity practice.

Two decades later in his capacity as Chairman of Ningbo Incote Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., Ying Xinglong established the Incote Navigation Scholarship Fund with an additional RMB 500,000 donation. Tailored to recognise outstanding students with sound academic results and fine personal ethics, the fund nurtures knowledgeable, ambitious and employable young generations and stands as solid proof of Incote’s ongoing commitment to social accountability.

Contract Sign-off for Joint Talent Development

Chairman Ying Xinglong addressed guests at the signing ceremony.

“We are privileged to grow amid China’s reform and opening-up era. National development brings abundant opportunities, enabling steady business expansion through diligence, integrity and consistent endeavour. We stay rooted in the core principle: grow from society and give back to society,” he commented.

“Every generation bears unique missions. As the nation advances rapidly towards rejuvenation, capable, principled and goal-driven youngsters are needed to shoulder historic responsibilities. Incote thus pledges to deliver on social commitments with all feasible resources.”

With all attendees present as witnesses, Yang Yixin, Vice Principal and legal representative of Wuxiang High School Education Development Foundation, and Ying Xiaoting formalised the donation contract for both sides.

Ying Xinglong later handed the commemorative donation plaque to Wang Haomin, the school’s Principal and Party Secretary. Principal Chen Xiaobo presented an honor plaque to Ying Xiaochun, while Vice Principal Wang Qi offered a bouquet to Ying Xiaoting.

Post-ceremony exchanges included reciprocal site tours and in-depth talks. The Incote team received a campus briefing before school representatives visited Incote’s production and office facilities.

Two decades of persistent charitable efforts carry forward the original mission. Though the brand has transitioned from Akzo Nobel to Incote, the commitment to youth development stays unchanged.
